Whether you are headed to Hawaiʻi for the first time or have left Hawaiʻi with aloha in your heart, we are here to to help you experience aloha.

Aloha is not just a greeting.  It is a way of being and a whole lot more.  The Aloha Spirit is so important that it has become part of Hawaiian law.  What is Aloha?  It was the working philosophy of native Hawaiians and was presented as a gift to the people of Hawaiʻi. Aloha means mutual regard and affection and extends warmth in caring with no obligation in return. Aloha is the essence of relationships in which each person is important to every other person for collective existence.

On this site you can enhance your visit to Hawaiʻi and acquire some of the aloha spirit by discovering where you can hear Hawaiian music, see hula and visit wonderful museums!

Hawaiʻi Beckons is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit.  Any profit generated by us goes to Hawaiian non-profits that are teaching the next generations of performers so this music and dance will have a future as well as a past.
